Echo Plus is a hands–free speaker you control with your voice, with a built–in smart home hub. It connects to the Alexa Voice Service to play music, ask questions, make calls, provide information, news, sports scores, weather and more — just ask.

With the built–in smart home hub, Echo Plus makes connecting to compatible smart home devices easier than ever. Just ask "Alexa, discover my devices", and Echo Plus will automatically discover and set up compatible smart lights and more without the need for additional hubs, apps or setup.

Use Echo Plus to switch on the lamp before getting out of bed or turn up the thermostat on a cold morning without lifting a finger. Group multiple actions together at scheduled times or with a single voice command, like securing your home by locking the doors and turning off the lights when you go to bed.

You can control hundreds of devices including light bulbs, switches, thermostats and more from a variety of brands, including Hue, WeMo, Nest, Hive, Samsung SmartThings and Netatmo.

With a 2.5" down–firing woofer and 0.8" tweeter, Echo Plus has crisp highs, deep bass and 360° audio to fill your room with music. You can play music from Amazon Music, Spotify, TuneIn and more. With Amazon Music, you can search by lyrics, time–period, or let Alexa pick the music for you. You can also listen to audiobooks from Audible, podcasts, radio stations, news briefings and more.

Want to play music on an Echo in another room? Now with multi–room music, you can tell Alexa to play across your Echo devices available for Amazon Music, Tune In and Spotify (coming soon); Bluetooth not supported. Tell Alexa to play jazz in the kitchen, top pop in the living room, or play the same song downstairs.

With Echo Plus, you can easily talk to anyone hands–free who also has an Echo device or the Alexa App — no tapping or searching required. Additionally, you can send messages via voice or text to anyone with an Echo device or the Alexa App.
